Buccochromis rhoadesii

Striking yellow dorsal fins contrast well with its blue head. This large fish that will need plenty of space. It is recommended to not keep them in tanks smaller than 100 gallons. Keep them away from smaller fish as they are predatory and can eat them. When introduced correctly, they do well with other haps and peacocks of large sizes.

  • Adult Size:  14-16"
  • Temperament:  Aggressive.
  • Compatibility:  Keep with other Peacocks and Haps of a similar size. Avoid keeping with Mbunas.
  • Suggested Diet:  SRC Hi-Intensity color food to promote color development.
