Temperament: Aggressive, especially towards males of the same species.
Description: As with other Mbunas, both males and females display coloring. As these fish reach maturity they will take on a yellow and black pattern, reminiscent of a bumblebee. These Mbunas can change colors fast! Yellows can become pale and their black stripes can become brown, temperament plays a big role in coloring.
Tank Mate Compatibility: Other Mbuna and, Cuckoo Catfish. Avoid Peacock or Haplochromis Cichlids.
